We are about learning together

The team at Childz Choice Preschool is committed to providing a high-quality care and education for children/tamariki. We do this by providing a happy, supportive and secure environment where children’s voices are heard, choices are valued; the adults are highly responsive and engage meaningfully with the children. We believe in empowering our children to grow as socially and emotionally competent and confident learners with a strong sense of self identity, curiosity & resilience as a lifelong leaner.

We acknowledge, respect and promote the principle of Te Triti’o Waitangi. We ensure our children/tamariki experience an environment that values and promotes Te Ao Māori. We are an inclusive learning space where diversity in all forms is celebrated and respected.

We are about the youngest learner

Childz Choice Preschool’s educators are passionate about providing a responsive curriculum where freedom to explore & discover happens in own time and pace. Our guiding principles are drawn from the NZ ECE Curriculum Te Whariki. Our children engage with open ended exciting resources to feed and extend their curiosity, sense of wonder and creativity that allow them to grow as leaders.

Our team of Teachers

At Childz Choice Preschool we are committed to employing high quality ECE teacher. 80% of our teachers are registered ECE teachers. The team is dedicated to lifelong learning and thus ongoing professional development is a significant part of our team culture.

Parents Welcome

At Childz Choice Preschool we have an open-door policy. Parents are always welcome to visit the centre to co-experience their children’s learning and development. We are open to suggestion and appreciate any feedback that could help us make improvements.

Practical learning

Childz Choice Preschool is indeed about children’s choice. We provide children with a range of opportunities and challenges in order to support them develop skills, knowledge & strengths so they can continue to learn throughout their life. Independence, social manners, resilience, innovation, love of nature and collectivism are valued qualities we aim to promote among our children.

Regular events

We plan and organize regular events for our children/tamariki. Parents & families are always welcome to participate & contribute towards these events. You could always check our website, EDUCA message board and the notice boards to remain informed of any upcoming events.
